Dr. Zaiim, the medical director of Carolina Integrative Clinic, is a general practitioner who is board certified in pediatrics and integrative medicine. Dr. Zaiim attended the University of Minnesota and UTESA University School of Medicine and was awarded his medical diploma in 1985. In 1988, he completed his residency training at Gundersen Medical Center in Wisconsin. In addition, he has expanded his training and knowledge in the field of integrative medicine and was recently awarded board certification by the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. He treats both adults and children at Carolina Integrative Clinic (CI Clinic). He has recently finished writing a book titled “Practical Relaxation- A Comprehensive 8-Week Stress Management Program” in which he discusses practical ways of reducing stress. Dr. Zaiim is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College for Advancement of Medicine. Since 1988, Dr. Zaiim has worked as a general practitioner, a pediatrician and occupational medicine practitioner in the state of North Carolina. He currently serves as the medical director of Pinnacle Family Services, a leading provider of treatment and rehabilitative services for at-risk youth and those with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the state.
In 2002, Dr. Zaiim established the Carolina Integrative Clinic (CI Clinic) in order to serve the area patients better by offering them an alternative, individualized and comprehensive approach to their health care.
